FFVII Rebirth: Unveiling a new Trailer at Summer Game Fest

The Summer Game Fest concluded with great excitement as it unveiled the long-awaited new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the next installment in the revamped FF7 trilogy. This new trailer showcased the beloved main characters as they ventured beyond Midgar, following the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It also reintroduced some familiar faces from the original FF7 that were absent in the first game. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, scheduled for an early 2024 release, aims to continue the captivating storyline established in the first game.

The trailer delved into the cast's exploration of the Lifestream and their contemplation of Sephiroth's unexpected return. Furthermore, it introduced Elena, the youngest member of the Turks, and provided an extensive look at the game's combat mechanics. Notably, players will have the opportunity to traverse the world in style by riding chocobos. The first game in the series laid the foundation for a new continuity, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth aims to build upon that, leaving major characters like Tifa perplexed by the events that unfolded over the past five years, revealing intriguing disparities between realities.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will offer an expansive gaming experience exclusively on PlayStation 5, and it is set to arrive in early 2024. The fact that the game will be released on two discs suggests a significant amount of content, even though it is only Part 2 of the planned trilogy.
