In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's launch, a quartet of the game's current English voice actors recently united to put their culinary skills to the test. Presented on the official FFXIV YouTube channel, Robert Vernon (known for Estinien Wyrmblood), Peter Bramhill (recognized as Thancred Waters), Colin Ryan (portraying Alphinaud Leveilleur), and Bethan Walker (voicing Alisaie Leveilleur) enthusiastically undertook the task of recreating the birthday cake that marked the eighth anniversary of the game.
Following a single viewing of Kim-Joy's instructional video for crafting the cake, the four voice actors embarked on the cake-making journey themselves. They formed two teams for the endeavor: Vernon and Bramhill collaborated on one cake, while Ryan and Walker teamed up to tackle the other. Thankfully, the base cake, along with frosting and fondant, was conveniently supplied. Nevertheless, the real challenge lay in their hands: adorning the cakes with intricate decorations.
