Square Enix has officially announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, which includes the first six original Final Fantasy games, is now available on Xbox consoles. This marks the first time these classic games have been released on Xbox, as confirmed during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024 Broadcast. Previously, these remastered titles were only available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and smartphones.
However, despite the high anticipation among fans, these games will not be part of Xbox Game Pass. The decision sets them apart from other Square Enix titles showcased at the event, which will be added to the subscription service.
Each remastered game has been updated with improved graphics and music, staying true to the original titles. Fans can purchase the games individually or as a complete bundle.
