Square Enix recently announced the reissue of Final Fantasy VII Bring Arts figures, but with a notable change - they will no longer include digital certificates or NFTs. The initial release of figures like Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith stirred controversy due to high prices and their inclusion of digital assets. However, subsequent releases omitted these features, raising eyebrows among fans. Now, Square Enix has confirmed the reissue of Cloud and Tifa without digital certificates or NFTs, making them available not only in their own store but also in third-party retailers like Amiami, HobbyLink Japan, and CDJapan. This move is expected to be followed by a similar reissue of the Aerith figure in the near future.
