Square Enix has revealed the content of the Final Fantasy VII-themed outfit pack for the upcoming game Life is Strange: Double Exposure. This outfit pack, exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, which is priced at 79.99 (USD/EUR), not only grants access to this special pack but also allows players to start their journey two weeks early, experiencing the first two chapters on October 15th.
The Final Fantasy VII outfit pack includes a variety of cosmetic items for the game’s protagonist, Max Caulfield. Players can dress Max in a Moogle coat and beanie, along with four indoor outfits featuring popular Final Fantasy creatures: Chocobo, Cactuar, Bomb, and Tonberry. These outfits are purely cosmetic and do not offer any gameplay advantages.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is set to release on October 29, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version planned for a later date. The Ultimate Edition also includes four additional outfit packs and exclusive cat content, making it a comprehensive package for dedicated players.
As previously announced, Life is Strange: Double Exposure continues the story of Max Caulfield, who returns as the main character after her debut in the original Life is Strange game. Set a decade later, Max, now a photographer at Caledon University, discovers her friend Safi’s murder and attempts to rewind time to save her. Instead, she opens a path to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive but in danger. Max must navigate both realities to prevent the murder from occurring again.
