Despite receiving seven nominations, including Game of the Year and Best Role-Playing Game, this was the sole award won by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Meanwhile, Astro Bot took home the sought-after Game of the Year award, solidifying its position as a standout title of the year.
Final Fantasy XIV was also in the spotlight with nominations for Best Ongoing Game and Best Community Support but did not win in these categories.
The event featured an array of game reveals, awards, and performances by The Game Awards Orchestra, making it a memorable evening for fans worldwide.
