Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Unveils Stunning Screenshots and Dynamic Difficulty

Square Enix's latest unveiling of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth brings a wealth of exciting features. New screenshots showcase Kalm, Mythril Mine, and the powerful summon Kujata. The game reintroduces Active and Classic modes and introduces a Dynamic setting, adjusting enemy difficulty based on player skill.

Kalm:

"A halcyon hamlet kept safe from the outside world by a sturdy stone wall. Though it lacks a reactor of its own, it thrives thanks to a steady supply of mako piped in from the metropolis of Midgar, which is visible from atop the town’s famous clock tower."

Mythril Mines:

"A once-bustling mine that connects the grasslands with Junon. Though once prized for its rich mythril deposits, the quarry fell into disuse after Shinra developed a superior mineral of their own, and the miners that once worked its tunnels have been replaced with monsters."

Dynamic difficulty:

"Enemies grow stronger as your characters do - perfect for players who crave constant challenge."

A notable addition are the mysterious Protorelics, artifacts altering space-time, discovered with the help of remnawave towers. Players can develop Materia with Chadley and explore the thriving hamlet of Kalm and the abandoned Mythril Mine.

Protorelics:

"Protorelics are artifacts of unknown origin that emit a unique energy signal. These elusive antiquities are hidden throughout the world─but with the aid of activated remnawave towers, Chadley should be able to point you in their direction. Be warned, however: they seem to alter space-time, and are known to cause strange phenomena."

The game promises a more ambitious experience with playable Cait Sith, Red XIII, and the reveal of Vincent. Gold Saucer offers various minigames, and combat sees enhancements with new synergy attacks. Characters like Billy, Rhonda, Priscilla, Chloe, and Broden bring depth to the narrative.

Kujata, a powerful summon with fire, ice, and lightning abilities, promises intense battles.

"A bovine deity that charges around the battlefield wielding the power of fire, ice, and lightning. It throws foes with its enormous horns and unleashes magical attacks that strike even distant enemies’ weaknesses."
