Final Fantasy XIV has teamed up with Secret Lab to launch a new special edition gaming chair. Based on the Titan Evo model, this chair is designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of FFXIV and the release of the Dawntrail expansion.
Upholstered in a deep blue Secretlab NEO™ Hybrid Leatherette, the chair is finished with gold embroidered accents that mirror the gilded interiors of the Ocular — the domain of the Crystal Exarch.
One of the chair’s standout features is its Magnetic Role Patches, which allow for customization based on the three main roles in FFXIV: Tank, Healer, and DPS. Alaric Choo, Secretlab co-founder, explained:
"Final Fantasy XIVis a stunning success story. 10 years after the launch of A Realm Reborn, the game continues to draw in new players. Every player is the hero of their own story, every Warrior of Light has a unique adventure of their own. To commemorate that on the Final Fantasy XIV Edition chair, we designed the special Magnetic Role Patches so that adventurers can customize their Secretlab TITAN Evo chair just like customizing their in-game characters,”
Additionally, the collaboration includes two lumbar pillows designed to complement the chair. The Alpha Edition features a chocobo design, while the Fat Cat Edition showcases the game's beloved chubby cat minion. Both pillows are made from premium memory foam to provide optimal support.
Naoki Yoshida praised the collaboration, saying:
“We spent a lot of time building the world of Eorzea with its rich history and lore, and we’ve found a partner in Secretlab who spent just as much time crafting a chair that would do justice to the game we all love. The Crystal Tower is brought to life in its full glory with painstaking embroidery work, and the TITAN Evo is everything players need to take on the game’s biggest challenges”
The chair is starts at 524€/549$, and the lumbar pillows cost 59€/59$ each. The products are now open for preorder and will be available in November 2024.
