Final Fantasy XVI Initially Planned for Simultaneous PS4 and PS5 Release

In an interview with Final Fantasy Union, Yoshida revealed that FF XVI was planned for simultaneous release on PS4 and PS5.

The PS4 version was ultimately canceled as it would have required an additional 1-2 years of development to ensure high quality.
