Square Enix has released an update for the Final Fantasy XVI PC demo, now available for download. This update primarily addresses a stuttering issue that affected the initial release, which was previously mentioned in the patch notes of version 1.01.
Additional issues addressed in this update include:
Certain characters not displaying correctly.
User adjustments to the graphics setting "Screen Space Reflection" not being applied properly.
User adjustments to the graphics setting "Variable Rate Shading (VRS)" not being applied correctly.
Screen mode settings not saving on specific hardware environments.
These fixes will also be applied to the forthcoming full release of the game, as well as the demo.
