A recent discovery indicates that Final Fantasy XVI might soon be released on PC. A game-ready profile for the title was spotted in Nvidia's latest Game Ready and Studio Driver 560.81, hinting that the launch could be near.
Reddit user m_w_h uncovered the game-ready profile in the new driver update. While it wasn't mentioned in the official driver release notes, this find suggests that the PC version of the game is almost ready. It's possible that the release date will be announced at Gamescom 2024.
Naoki Yoshida has previously mentioned that a playable demo for the PC version will be available soon. This demo could be released on the same day as the announcement, giving players an early chance to experience the game on PC.
