Final Fantasy XVI PC Version Enters 'Final Stages of Optimization,' Demo Teased

Final Fantasy XVI, currently exclusive to PlayStation 5, is soon coming to PC. Square Enix has confirmed the development of a PC version, and producer Naoki Yoshida has provided an update on its progress. In an interview with Game Informer, Yoshida stated that the PC version is in the final stages of optimization. Although he couldn't provide a specific release date, he assured fans that the development is going smoothly.

Yoshida also mentioned that the PC specifications for Final Fantasy XVI are expected to be somewhat high, ensuring an immersive gaming experience. To help players determine if their PCs meet the requirements, the team plans to release a demo ahead of the official launch. While no exact details about the demo's release date were disclosed, Yoshida emphasized:

"We can't really talk about too much in terms of details of when it's going to come out – I think in a little bit more time we'll be in a better place to announce things. But one thing's for sure: It won't be too distant in the future; it won't be a year, it won't be two years, it will probably be shorter than that, so stay tuned."
