Square Enix and AWR Records have released Distant Worlds VII: More Music from Final Fantasy, a new orchestral album featuring newly recorded arrangements of tracks from multiple titles across the franchise. Conducted and produced by Arnie Roth, the album includes music from Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy XVI.
The album features several new orchestral arrangements of Final Fantasy XVI compositions by Masayoshi Soken, including “Away,” “Ascension,” “Find the Flame,” and “My Star.” Music from Final Fantasy XIV is also included, with Amanda Achen performing “Flow” and “The Final Day” from Endwalker.
Additional recordings include “Suteki da ne” from Final Fantasy X, performed by original vocalist RIKKI, and “Distant Worlds” from Final Fantasy XI, sung by Emi Evans. The album also features a newly recorded orchestral version of “Dancing Mad” from Final Fantasy VI, as well as “Valse di Fantastica” from Final Fantasy XV.

The album is available for purchase in North America through ffdistantworlds.com and will release in Europe on February 28, 2025, via Wayô Records. A vinyl edition is planned for spring 2025.
