Square Enix has unveiled a preview of the item crafting system in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This new feature allows players to gather materials from the game world and use recipes to craft various items. With each successful creation, players earn experience points, enabling them to advance their crafting skills. However, some recipes have specific crafting level requirements that must be met before they can be unlocked.
The initial list of crafted items includes Potions, Mist Potions (which restore 350 HP to all allies), Phoenix Medicine (equivalent to Phoenix Down in English), Antidotes, Smelling Salts, and Echo Mists. Notably, Mist Potion, Phoenix Medicine, and Echo Mist necessitate a Crafting Level of 2. If a player lacks the required ingredients for a specific recipe, it will be indicated in red. As players explore the game and improve their crafting abilities, they will gain access to the creation of even more rare and valuable items.
