Square Enix has announced a new weapon for the upcoming PC release of Final Fantasy XVI. The Brave Blade, which first appeared in Final Fantasy V, will be available as a pre-order bonus for the PC version of the game, set to release on September 17. This weapon is known for its unique feature: the more the player avoids battles, the weaker the weapon becomes.
Square Enix has also confirmed that the Brave Blade will be added to the PS5 version of Final Fantasy XVI at a later date.
In addition to the Brave Blade, PC pre-orders will include the Cait Sith Charm, a Gil Boost Accessory, and the "Sixteen Bells" Orchestrion Roll. These items were also available to PS5 players, with the Cait Sith Charm being a pre-order exclusive and the Orchestrion Roll offered through a Taco Bell promotion.
