Sony has released a new PS5 system software update (version 24.06-10.01.00), primarily aimed at fixing graphical bugs affecting Final Fantasy XVI players. The update follows complaints of crashes and performance issues after a previous system update, which had introduced new features such as a Welcome hub and 3D audio profile creation but inadvertently caused problems in some games. The official Final Fantasy XVI Twitter account urged players to download and install the update, confirming that it aims to resolve the graphical bugs and crashes.
Square Enix is working with Sony to investigate and address any remaining issues affecting Final Fantasy XVI. While the patch tackles many reported problems, both companies continue to monitor player feedback and collaborate on further solutions if needed.
