Square Enix has launched a tourism website to promote the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Dawntrail. The website, designed to entertain and inform, features humorous content, activity recommendations, and lore snippets about Tural, the new in-game continent. Rhys Darby stars as the Interim Deputy Director of Turalism, adding a comedic touch to the site.
The website also includes recipes for tacos and a cocktail, as well as other travel advisories, like a humorous warning about loose alpacas. Additionally, the site has a mysterious password entry form for the Solution Nine zone and hidden map fragments for players to discover. Fans can find previews of new NPCs, mounts, minions, and locations, along with video updates from the Deputy Director of Turalism.
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail enters early access on June 28, with the full release on July 2.
