Square Enix Teams Up with Pièces Uniques

Square Enix has announced a collaboration with Edmond Luu and Pièces Uniques label. Together, they have created the "Artefact Primordial" capsule collection, featuring eight outfits inspired by Final Fantasy XVI. This unique collaboration brings the world of Final Fantasy to life through fashion. Stay tuned for more updates on the release of this exciting collection.

Joshua/Phoenix: Requiring more than 150 hours of work, more than 500 feathers have been sewn into this cape, with the patterns of Phoenix’s eyes, red and purple, a reminder of the Phoenix's flames.

Jill/Shiva: A white suit combined to a corset and skirt in duchess with transparent blue tulle details reminiscent of Shiva’s ice.

Cid/Ramuh: The slash costume made of Italian wool is rework of an iconic piece of Pièces Uniques. A multitude of purple, pink and blue bids have been embroidered onto the suit to create a motif reminiscent of Ramuh’s lightning and powers.

Benedikta/Garuda: A leather dress moulded onto a bust, made of vegetable leather, painted an obscure black and carved in a pattern reminiscent of Garuda feathers. Some of the slits have been painted with a powerful green, a reference to Benedikta’s powers. #FF16

Dion/Bahamut: The first piece is a suit jacket inspired by an Indian sherwarni, a ceremonial garment reinterpreted with a pleated fabric reminiscent of Bahamut’s scales. The second piece is a flapper cape constructed from Pièces Uniques monogrammed tulle made in Italy.

Barnabas/Odin: A jacket in neoprene has been reworked to create layers reminiscent of armour. The blue scarf printed with the monogram reminds us of Barnabas’s cape and the aura of Odin.

Clive/Ifrit: The jacket is embossed with the "Labyrinth" monogram applied to an aviator jacket inspired by Clive’s armour. The cowhide leather jacket has been painted to create a burnt effect and is part of a set with trousers reminiscent of Clive’s cape. #FF16

One final outfit inspired by Titan will be showcased by Pièces Uniques before being presented to the public in July.
